Ukrainian motorcycle racer “Number One” at the Superpole Race in Portugal

For the first time in the history of Ukraine, an Odessa motorcycle racer won the Superpole Race at the World Championship in Portugal.


Nikita Kalinin, a 21-year-old motorcycle racer from Odessa, became the winner of the Portuguese stage of the Superbike World Championship – a motorcycle circuit racing based on commercially available serial designs.

The athlete managed to finish first, although in training he showed the third result.

Nikita is the first athlete in the history of independent Ukraine to win superpole gold. He represented the Battley-RT Motorsports by SKM-Kawasaki team.
