Freestyler Oleksandr Abramenko brought Ukraine the first medal at the Beijing Olympics


Ukrainian freestyler Oleksandr Abramenko won a silver medal in ski acrobatics at the Winter Olympics in Beijing (China). This is the first medal of Ukraine at the 2022 Games.


So, at the Olympic Games in Beijing on Wednesday, February 16, Abramenko made a difficult jump with a final score of 116.5. This result allowed him to win a silver medal.

 

Very happy. It is especially pleasant to win an Olympic medal for Ukraine, for compatriots on Unity Day. This award is for our country. Ukraine, thank you for your support! This medal is for our entire country and for every Ukrainian.
