During three quarters of 2021, 3,600 new cars were registered in Odessa and the region. They spent $135 million on purchasing these cars, and the most popular model was the Toyota RAV4 crossover.
SUVs and crossovers accounted for 80% of all new cars registered in the Odessa region nine months. Cars equipped with diesel engines accounted for 27% of the market. The average cost of each car exceeded $37,500, excluding the prices of additional equipment, according to the car sales website RST.ua.
Since the beginning of the year, Odessans have spent $135 million on new cars.
Toyota was the most popular brand in the region. Since the beginning of the year, 550 such cars have been registered for more than $ 21 million. The Toyota RAV4 crossover became the bestseller among models and covered 6% of sales – but that’s only 222 cars. In addition to him, Kia Sportage and Renault Sandero were often bought – respectively, 210 and 129 cars.
In total, 75,500 new cars have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of 2021. They spent $2.4 billion on the purchase of these cars, and the most popular model was the Toyota RAV4 crossover. Ukrainians also bought premium-segment cars: for example, brand new Rolls Royce Cullinan (6 cars, each of which costs from $487,604), Bentley Continental GT (15 cars, each of which costs from $281,761), and Aston Martin appeared on the roads DB11 (2 cars, each starting at $ 277,673). Compared to the same period last year, sales of new cars in Ukraine increased by 27%.
